Our Projects
Our projects focus on sustainable waste management and environmental awareness. The Kikvi Cluster SWM Project ensures efficient solid waste segregation, recycling, and disposal. The Lavale Wet Waste Management Project promotes eco-friendly composting solutions for organic waste. During the Ganesh Festival (2024) Nirmalya Project, we facilitate the proper collection and processing of floral waste to prevent water pollution. Additionally, the Hinjewadi IEC Project raises awareness about waste segregation and sustainable practices through education and community engagement
1. Kikvi Cluster SWM Project
Cluster Municipal Solid Waste Management Project contributes 7 Local Grampanchayats in Bhor tehsil of Pune district along with approximately 30+ Hotels & Restaurants and 18 Housing Societies as a waste generator bodies. Started in September 2024, currently we receive 6.2 tons per day dry & wet waste at waste processing facility located at Kikvi village of Bhor Tehsil.
2. Lavale Wet Waste Management Project
The project serves 27 housing societies in Pune as waste generator bodies. Started in January 2025, it currently processes 4.6 tons of wet waste per day at the Lavale village facility in Mulshi Tehsil. The 10 TPD capacity windrow composting facility includes fine segregation of foreign materials, shredding, pile formation, turning, screening, and packing as part of daily operations. This initiative directly benefits approximately 1,970 people by improving sanitation and hygiene standards.
3. Ganesh Festival (2024) Nirmalya Project
With the objective of converting approximately 400 tons of holy Nirmalya generated in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area into high-quality organic compost using an eco-friendly and efficient composting process with minimal environmental impact, Jansuvidha Social Foundation has been running the project since 20th September 2024.
4. Hinjewadi IEC Project
The behavioral change initiative for solid waste segregation included various activities such as door-to-door waste generation surveys, supervision and monitoring with demonstrations, street plays, school and college meetings, rallies, plogathons, and Swachhata Abhiyan. The project covered approximately 67 hotels and restaurants, 52 housing societies, and 38,000 stakeholders of Hinjewadi Grampanchayat.
